LITIGANTS IN PERSON

A Litigant in person is known as an LIP.

A litigant in person (LiP) is an individual, company, or organization that brings or defends a court case, tribunal, or legal proceeding without formal legal representation from a solicitor or barrister. Also known as a "self-represented litigant" or "party litigant" in Scotland, they manage all aspects of their case, including drafting documents and addressing the court directly.
